London’s Best Rooftop Bars To Visit This Summer
It seems summer is finally here and what better way to enjoy it than getting out to one of London’s best rooftop bars. Here we have a look at some of the best our great City has to offer.
Nestled in the streets of Peckham in South East London, sat on top of a multi-storey car-park, Frank’s Café offers fabulous views of the city alongside delicious bar snacks and classic cocktails. Commissioned by Bold Tendencies (a non-profit commissioning art project) and designed by Practice Architecture, this rooftop bar is definitely worth a visit. We recommend the sticky brown sugar hot wings with a nice cold Aperol Spritz to set the tone for a perfect summer evening.
A small roof space in Oxford Street, formerly known as ‘Roofnic’, Notch has literally stepped up in terms of rooftop offerings. With industrial style interior design and a white canopy for those unpredictable summer nights, Notch serves cute cocktails in jam jars and Negronis in tuna cans together with trendy bao buns and tacos. What better way to rest and take the weight off your feet following a busy day shopping on oxford Street?
For something a little swankier, head down to South Bank’s Mondrian Hotel where Ramus Room has undergone refurbishment. The riverside rooftop bar exudes elegance with plush sofas in rich colours, luscious greenery and comfortable lounge spaces. On the 12th floor, the view of London is worth the expensive British-American inspired cocktails. With live music on Wednesdays and DJ’s Thursday through to Saturday, it’s the perfect way to unwind and take in London’s magnificent skyline.
