We are excited to announce the opening of Leh Chalo – an Indian fusion casual dining bar and restaurant based in trendy Clapham Common.

The Brief

In desperate need of a brand and shop redesign and refurbishment, Catersales were appointed to create a cohesive brand and interior design for Indian small plates concept, Leh Chalo.

The Brand Identity

From name generation through to logo and packaging design, the objective was to create an upbeat and playful brand identity with the aim to attract a young target market. ‘Leh Chalo!’, a Hindi phase meaning ‘Let’s go!’, exudes energy, passion and Indian culture.

The Logo

Oozing lively Indian charm, the logo utilises a combination of upper and lowercase letter forms paired with a bold colour palette. The chunky typeface allows for different formatting and arrangement of the letters depending upon its use, reinforcing Leh Chalo’s energetic and playful personality.

The Interior Design

Taking inspiration from Leh Chalo’s spirited brand identity, the interior is an eclectic mix of texture and colour. From rustic wooden benches to glossy bottle-green wall tiles, Leh Chalo offers a vibrant and unique social destination. On the ground floor, the ambient-lit bar and bespoke gold shelving perfectly displays the vast array of enticing cocktails on offer.

The basement provides an intimate V.I.P. area, perfect for event hire and parties. Playful pink neon signage promotes a fun and lively atmosphere whilst Indian-inspired wall murals and gold accents add authenticity and charm.

Offering aromatic dishes from the bustling streets of India, Leh Chalo is an altogether fun, playful and inviting Indian bar and restaurant.
