Cavan Bakery
Cavan Bakery, an established artisan bakery with multiple locations across the South East of England, approached us to refresh their visual identity and interior design, following our involvement in the implementation of previous projects. The aim was to honour their rich heritage and craftsmanship while evolving the brand for a more modern audience.
When Cavan approached Catersales with their newest project, they were looking for our involvement to go beyond manufacture and installation. As a long-standing client, they trusted us to support the business as it entered its next chapter, with a refreshed brand identity and interior design that would feel more current while still honouring the heritage of Cavan Bakery.
To create a sense of continuity across this new direction, we proposed that the branding and interior design should evolve together. The new visual identity was developed as a modern update of Cavan’s existing brand, keeping the overall aesthetic familiar while introducing a warmer, more approachable colour palette. A continuous line bread icon was also created as a key brand feature, designed to be carried seamlessly through the interior and exterior of their shops.
With Cavan’s heritage and craftsmanship at the heart of the project, the interior design was shaped around a contemporary take on British heritage.
The evolved palette, soft wood tones and layered textures helped create a warmer, more inviting environment, while still nodding to the character of an established artisan bakery.
The layout was carefully considered to allow customers to move through the space with ease, browse the products on display and experience a counter design tailored to showcase Cavan’s extensive bakery range.
The interior combines warm neutral tones, natural wood finishes and subtle sage accents to create a contemporary take on British bakery heritage. Open timber displays, textured tiles and a carefully considered counter design help showcase Cavan’s product range while creating a softer, more modern customer experience.
