Lucio came to us wanting to launch a
high-quality coffee and food offering in the heart of Leatherhead, Surrey. Coming from a position of experience having managed a local shop for several years, he had a clear idea of what he wanted to achieve but needed a partner to realise that.
We designed the brand and created a homely and welcoming interior scheme that would appeal to the target market and also bring something new to the high street.
The established branding style carried over into the interior design and influenced choices regarding colour and furniture, with a particular focus on the furniture and panelling used throughout. The signature light blue, prominently featured on the shopfront and awning, pays homage to the authentic and artisanal Italian-style offering.
We manufactured everything for the store from the furniture and counters, to retail displays and a partially glazed room divider as well as carrying out the full build from flooring and new partitions to wall cladding, tiling and decorating.
The result has been a local coffee shop with a great food offering and high community engagement that has quickly established itself as the go-to location in Leatherhead.
