Parish Coffee
A vibrant and welcoming community coffee shop, situated in The Church of Ascension in Balham, designed to foster community engagement and
re-establish the church as the heart of the neighborhood. The goal is to offer a high street coffee shop experience in a relaxed and approachable setting.
We were approached by The Church of the Ascension in Balham to design and fit a new coffee shop within the nave of the Church. They wanted to appeal to people who attended the church but also the general public.
We developed a new brand for them Parish Coffee coupled with a sympathetic interior design scheme which had a strong emphasis on flexibility for functions and inclusivity.
The rustic, relaxed and slightly eclectic style lends itself to the welcoming and homely feeling the Parish coffee team wanted to emulate.
Designing and implementing the Parish Coffee shop at The Church of the Ascension in Balham was a gratifying experience for our team. We enjoyed bringing the vision of a vibrant and inclusive community coffee shop to life, ensuring it seamlessly integrated with the church’s atmosphere and purpose.
Having completed the planning phase, we moved on to manage and carry out the entire installation including electrical, plumbing and bespoke counter and furniture installation. In addition to this scope, we restored an antique table which had significance for the church.
The project was very well received, delivered on time, and meeting the deadline of hosting a wedding of one of the congregations which was exceptionally well received.
