Spacious Place
Spacious Place, located in a Christian organisation in Stanford-le-Hope, is a friendly, uplifting, and approachable community engagement cafe. It provides coffee and light meals in a welcoming and casual environment, where people come together.
Spacious Place is a community hub that was undergoing an expansion plan, part of which was to add a coffee shop alongside its food bank. They wanted an area where consultations could be carried out as well as a welcoming sanctuary for people to go to decompress.
We produced a simple and concise brand for them that gave clarity as to the purpose of the area in the setting of a multifunction building.

The interior design aimed to cultivate a welcoming atmosphere through calm, tranquillity, comfort, and familiarity. The colour palette and abstract artwork added vibrant touches to the design, resulting in an uplifting and contemporary environment.
Further to the design work, we advised them on product, workflows and customer flow. We seamlessly integrated with the main contractor who was working on the construction of the wider site to fulfil a project to a high standard and on time. We carried out the manufacture and supply of all of the decorative finishes, counter system, bannisters and furniture as well as supply of all equipment.
The result has been a very successful launch and a calming space that has been well used by the locals and also the wider community.
